The City of Decherd Water/Sewage Department main office is located at 1301 West Main Street, P. O. Box 488, Decherd, Tennessee. The phone number for the department is 931-967-5301. Emergency personnel are on call 24 hours a day. Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. Water bills are mailed on the last working day of each month, with bills due by the 15th of each month. Bills may also be paid at the Citizens Community Bank (Winchester) or the Citizens Community Bank Motor Branch (2176 Decherd Blvd).

Deposits for residents ($100.00 for renters, $20.00 for owners) require a social security number and a valid drivers’ license number. Deposits for a business require a Federal Tax I.D. number.
The City of Decherd Water Board meets on the second Monday of each month in the Decherd City Hall council room, directly upon conclusion of the regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

Call Tennessee One Call at 1800-351-1111 to locate water lines prior to doing any digging. Please contact the water department for turning water off at the meter box. Any damages incurred as the result of an owner/occupant turning off water at the box prior to contacting the water department, shall become the financial responsibility of the owner/occupant.
